2015 Trek
In October of 2015, Tonya took a team of 7 people to Nepal to trek to Everest Base Camp, a symbolic journey for the boys who would never be able to climb a mountain. The team took a flag with the names of over 750 young people living with, or who have died from Duchenne. They carried the flag to Base Camp and read every name into the wind with hope. A short documentary has been produced, chronicling the trip, Into the Wind: Everest to End Duchenne.
